Abstract
The Whole Body Vibration (WBV) is a phenomenon where mechanical random or periodic oscillations are transmitted to the human body while doing heavy work in industries, especially mining. We tried to detect sources in brain regions while WBV. We found that the temporal lobe also participates with the occipital lobe when doing visual tasks in an MRI machine. The source localization method LORETA is used to find the electrical activities of brain parts using EEG. In EEG, movement is considered an artifact and thus rejects those moving artifact segments. Here we first used the rejected artifact as our region of interest and studied the WBV. However, we filter the data from 0.5 Hz to 48 Hz and then feed it into LORETA. This study benefits not only include industries with WBV problems but also neuroscience and medical studies: a new path.
