Modeling of Permanent Magnet Motors with Cogging and Saturation Effects Included

摘要
A method for modeling permanent magnet motors including saturation effects on cogging and motive torque is described. This method rivals the accuracy of finite element analyses but solves 4–5 orders of magnitude faster, depending on several factors. Simulation results match well with laboratory measurements.
