个人简介
Ravindra D. Jilte is Professor, School of Mechanical Engineering at Lovely Professional University, India since 2016. He received his Ph.D. from IIT Bombay and M.Tech from IIT Madras, India. He is into academics from past 22+ years. He is working on solar energy assisted energy systems. He is carrying collaborative research with several international universities.
His broad area of research is design, development of various solar energy assisted energy systems and applications of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in Energy systems. He has conducted CFD study on solar thermal applications like the characterization of heat losses from Compact Fresnel Linear Reflectors used in the solar thermal power plant; paraboloid dish cavity receivers used in process heat applications. He has also worked on CFD simulation on an innovative battery thermal management system for Electric vehicles and Hybrid Electric Vehicles. The use of single-phase fluid, nanofluid, phase change materials in energy storage has been successfully carried out.
He has contributed as resource person for various faculty development training on computational skills and research. He has published 50+ research papers in international journals with a cumulative Web of Science (SCI) impact factor of more than 150+. He is on Editorial board member and active reviewer in several highly referred journals of Elsevier, Willey, MDPI, Springer, Nature, Taylor & Francis etc. He has one national patent as a co-inventor to his credit.
