The transition towards decentralized energy systems is gaining momentum driven by the increasing penetration of renewable energy sources and the growing demand for energy independence. However, existing decentralized energy systems face challenges related to secure, efficient, and privacy-preserving P2P energy trading mechanisms. This paper proposes a novel decentralized energy platform that addresses these challenges and introduces a comprehensive market mechanism for facilitating P2P energy trading. The proposed mechanism utilizes a clearing algorithm and matching optimization technique to ensure efficient and fair energy transactions while safeguarding user privacy. The platform also incorporates a user-friendly interface to enable seamless interaction with the market. The paper provides a detailed description of the market mechanism, clearing algorithm, and user interface, highlighting the potential of the proposed platform to revolutionize the energy sector by democratizing energy markets, promoting renewable energy adoption, and reducing reliance on traditional centralized utilities.
