Abstract
In recent years, with the strong promotion of environmental governance by the Chinese government, flexible DC transmission technology has greatly promoted the development of China' s new energy generation industry. The structure of flexible DC power grid is complex. In order to improve the safety and stability of the system, avoid and reduce major accidents and economic losses in actual engineering operation, it is necessary to conduct protection tests on the flexible DC transmission system before actual application and during maintenance during operation, and evaluate the entire testing process after the test is completed. This article proposes an evaluation method for protection testing of flexible DC transmission systems. Based on the principles of comprehensiveness, rationality, and independence in the construction of the flexible DC system structure and indicator system, a flexible DC protection testing and evaluation indicator system has been established. A more suitable evaluation index weighting method was proposed, which combines Expert method and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) for subjective weighting, CRITIC Method for objective weighting, and t-Distribution Combination Weighting Method to combine subjective and objective weight values to obtain weight intervals. In the scoring stage, select the weight range and determine the weight value based on actual requirements, and then combine the scoring of each indicator in the protection testing stage to obtain the final result of the protection testing process. This article analyzes and verifies the evaluation method using a protection test of the Zhangbei Flexible Direct Current Project as an example. The results are in line with expectations and have certain reference significance for the development of protection testing in flexible direct current transmission systems in the future.
