In this paper, we have explored the utilization of an electrically small low-frequency magnetic source for breast cancer detection. The object under test is a numerically realistic ACR class 3-heterogeneously dense breast phantom model. Different scenarios, including various tumor locations, were numerically analyzed. Such investigation is crucial as magnetic sources can excite biological magnetic dipole moments within the body tissues. The findings indicate that recording the magnetic field compared to the electric field can lead to a reduction in Positioning Error (PE) for tumor detection.
