Energy Management and Control Strategy for Aircraft Power Supply System with Pulse Loads

Abstract
Aircraft power supply is an independent power supply system with low immunity. When the high power pulse load is working, the instantaneous power demand easily cause the fluctuation of the bus voltage, which will affect the stability of the system. In order to improve the stability of the system, an energy management and control strategy is proposed. Considering the state of charge (SOC) of energy storage unites, a fuzzy control strategy based adaptive low-pass filtering is used for energy management system (EMS). For the controller, accurate direct power control (ADPC) method and model predictive control (MPC) method are respectively used for the battery (BA) and supercapacitor (SC) to achieve fast pulse power control. Simulation results verify the good dynamic performance of the proposed the energy management and control strategy.
