Abstract
Offshore wind power is becoming an increasingly crucial component of the power grid. Current research on offshore wind farm modeling mainly focuses on symmetric voltage dips, with less attention given to asymmetric conditions. This paper explores the electromagnetic transient behavior of large-capacity semi-direct drive wind turbines under asymmetric dips. It proposes a practical equivalent method for offshore wind farms, utilizing the clustering characteristics of turbines during the transient-steady period. This method, which pays close attention to the physical characteristics of turbines, offers high engineering applicability and has been validated by simulations to demonstrate significant accuracy and effectiveness.
