摘要
Energy management systems (EMS) play a crucial role in optimizing energy usage by balancing supply and demand. The multi-time scale EMS can simultaneously optimize various resources with different time scales. While wind turbines are a potential renewable energy source, their dynamics pose a challenge for conventional multi-time scale EMS, as they operate on an intermediate time-scale. This paper proposes methods to incorporate wind turbines with intermediate time-scale dynamics into the multi-time scale EMS and evaluates the effectiveness of this extension. Experimental results demonstrate a 6% reduction in purchased energy through optimization of the wind turbine’s time-scale.
