Abstract
DC–DC converters are widely used in photovoltaic systems. However, conventional DC–DC converters exhibit limitations such as low efficiency and high rated power requirements. This paper introduces an LLC resonant converter based on partial power processing for photovoltaic inverters. By implementing soft switching for switches, switching losses are reduced and conversion efficiency is improved. Furthermore, an optimized bus voltage control method is designed to narrow the voltage gain range of the LLC converter. Additionally, due to the partial power conversion structure, the power rating of the converter is 25.9% of that in full-power converters. A comparative analysis with traditional DC–DC converters validates the advantages of this converter.
