Enhancing Meeting Management and Voting in Higher Education Institutions Using Moodle

This paper presents an in-depth exploration of how Moodle, a popular learning management system, has been utilized to manage meetings and conduct anonymous voting in university committees and academic boards. By leveraging Moodle's course tools, a dedicated space for meeting documentation management was implemented. To address the lack of complete anonymity in the original “feedback” module, a modified version was developed to enable anonymous voting. The paper details the modifications made to the feedback module, the anonymous voting process, user satisfaction, and future integration plans. The solution has received positive feedback from users, with over 500 anonymous and about 1,000 public votes conducted by 102 committees in the past two years.
