A Switchable Transmission/Reflection Frequency Selective Surface

摘要
In this article, we present a switchable frequency selective surface (FSS) featuring angular stability and polarization symmetry (transmission/reflection). The proposed structure comprises two orthogonal distributions of active FSSs printed on a dielectric substrate. By altering the state of the PIN diode (ON/OFF), two distinct switchable electromagnetic functions (transmission/reflection) are achieved within the x-band frequency range. Furthermore, we analyze the behavior of the switchable transmission/reflection FSS, using equivalent circuit models (ECMs).
