Abstract
The experiment combined aramid fiber-reinforced polymer (AFRP) and stainless steel (SS) into a laminated structure, which was an AFRP/SS/AFRP co-cured material. The milling cutter and drill bit were used in the experiment to study the hole machining effect of the co-cured material. The effects of machining parameters on the hole processing quality were compared, and the cutting mechanism of the co-cured material was revealed. The research results show that the processing effect of milling is better than that of drilling, and the cutting force during the hole machining process is small, only 53.619
