摘要
Random PRI staggering is an effective means of mitigating range and Doppler ambiguities when processing an extended range-Doppler space. It is well known that the suppression of these ambiguities will simultaneously increase sidelobe levels. Previous works have focused on the impacts of random sampling on this sidelobe structure, but the field of Compressive Sensing offers the restricted isometry property (RIP) as a means of testing the performance of PRI staggering schemes. The RIP is applied to simulated radar data for various pulsing schemes and the implications of the results are discussed.
