Abstract
Robotic arc additive remanufacturing utilizes the same technology methods as wire arc additive manufacturing to repair and restore worn parts and components. It holds immense potential in in-situ remanufacturing of large parts for its high efficiency, low cost and low environment requirements. In comparison to traditional subtractive repair methods, wire and arc additive remanufacturing (WAAR) involves changes in multiple physical fields, making it highly complex and dynamic. This paper introduces the research progress of some key technologies in WAAR and explores the future development of WAAR combining currently popular technologies.
