Site Selection of Wind Farms Based on Novel Probabilistic Dual Hesitant Fuzzy ExpTODIM and LogTODIM Methods

Abstract
With the gradual intensification of global energy shortage and the improvement of energy conservation and environmental protection requirements, the acquisition and utilization of renewable and clean energy have attracted more and more attention. Wind energy has become an important direction of renewable energy development. Whether the site selection of wind farms (SSWFs) is reasonable is directly related to whether the wind farm can stably output a large amount of electric energy. In order to maximize the use of wind farms, the SSWFs is a very key prerequisite. However, experts are hesitant in the process of SSWFs. In order to scientifically and reasonably select the most appropriate wind farm site from the limited WF sites. Probabilistic dual hesitant fuzzy set (PDHFS) is a more powerful and useful tool to express uncertain information as a deeper extension of hesitant fuzzy set (HFS) and dual hesitant fuzzy set (DHFS). Combined with its powerful advantages and the recently proposed ExpTODIM and LogTODIM methods, this paper designs two novel multiple attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) techniques for site SSWFs and provide technical support for scientific and reasonable SSWFs. Finally, two MAGDM techniques proposed in this paper is compared with the existing decision-making methods to illustrate the rationality and superiority of the two MAGDM techniques. The results show that the two MAGDM techniques have greater flexibility and practicability, and can effectively solve the SSWFs problem. At the same time, two MAGDM techniques proposed in this paper can be extended to the research of related problems.
