Silicon broadband metalens with wide field of view for optical beam steering in free space

We report on a broadband and wide field of view metalens design based on a quadratic phase profile. Exploiting meta-atoms dispersion, the metalens focal length shows a negligible dependence on wavelength throughout the 1500 - 1600 nm wavelength range and a 60° field of view in air.
