Detection of Crop Disease and Spraying of Pesticides using Drone

Crop monitoring is essential for maximizing crop yield. One of the key technological advancements for boosting crop efficiency in the Indian agricultural sector is the use of agricultural drones. Drone-assisted pesticide application is one of the emerging technologies used in modern agriculture. Manual pesticide application has a variety of drawbacks for individuals spraying pesticides. The person may suffer from several medical issues. To address this problem, we have designed a drone for crop monitoring and pesticide spraying. This paper gives an overview of the drone, briefing the image-capturing process by the drone camera for the inspection of various crops. The pesticides that are required to cure the particular disease of crops are emphasized. A combination of the chemical formulation and water required for spraying pesticides with the help of a drone is also discussed in this work.
