Abstract
To establish trusted routes, secure routing protocols have been extensively researched. These protocols employ authentication mechanisms, such as digital signatures, to thwart attacks in which an attacker injects fraudulent data into the route information in the process of route establishment. In this paper, we design an ID-based aggregate signature scheme based on lattice and introduce it to improve wireless multi-hop secure routing protocols. We call its resulting protocol ISDSR-L. Our expectations are not limited to improving security but also accelerating signature generation and verification processes. To evaluate our proposed scheme, we have conducted experiments measuring the computational time required for signature generation and signature verification. Our results demonstrate that our proposed scheme exhibits sufficient performance to be applied to wireless multi-hop secure routing protocols, particularly in terms of computational efficiency.
