Abstract
Sodium -ion batteries (SIBs) are considered an effective alternative to lithium -ion batteries. However, their development has been less successful due to the lack of suitable anode base materials for reversible Na + insertion and removal reactions. Currently, the bimetallic heterojunctions is attractive candidates for SIB cathodes because of the hollow structure, composition and electrochemical tunability. In this work, three-dimensional (3D) hollow cubic bimetallic sulfide heterojunction prepared by one-step hydrothermal method, and the effect of hollow heterostructure on sodium storage properties systematically studied. In conclusion, the unique heterostructure and bimetal synergistic effect can comprehensively improve the electrochemical performance, which is expected to promote the commercialization process of SIBs, and provide theoretical and experimental basis for the new materials design.
