Low-Complexity Multi-tap ET-DFE-PU for Soft-Input FEC in High-Speed IM/DD systems

摘要
We propose a low-complexity multi-tap LUT-based ET-DFE-PU algorithm to alleviate the degradation on LLR by error propagation. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve 3.4-dB receiver sensitivity improvement compared with conventional DFE.
