1-Tb/s PS-PAM-4 interboard optical interconnect using integrated SiPh transmitter and receiver array modules over an 8-channel polymer optical waveguide is proposed and experimentally demonstrated, achieving a low-cost and high-speed solution for short-range optical interconnects.
