Abstract
Full-duplex multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems offer increased spectral efficiency by enabling simultaneous transmission and reception within the same frequency band. However, self-interference poses a significant challenge that can degrade system performance. In this paper, we investigate the use of Kalman Filter for real-time self-interference mitigation and integrating Zero Forcing (ZF) and Maximum Ratio Combining (MRC) techniques for precoding optimization. Through simulations, we evaluate the Bit Error Rate (BER) versus Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR). The results demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed Kalman Filter-based self-interference cancellation and ZF/MRC precoding, leading to significant improvements in BER performance. Additionally, we compare the channel capacity of the full-duplex MIMO system with traditional half-duplex MIMO, highlighting the superiority of our approach in achieving enhanced BER performance and channel capacity.
