摘要
This article develops a new group acceptance sampling plans (GASP) based on truncated lifetimes when the item’s lifetime follows gamma Lindley distribution (GLD). The model mean is considered as a quality parameter, then the minimum number of groups and acceptance number required for a specific group size are selected for a particular consumer’s risk and test termination time. The values of the operation characteristic function are calculated for various quality levels, and the minimum ratios of true average life to stipulated life at a certain producer’s risk are determined. Examples are provided to demonstrate the results and a real data set of fatigue fracture of Kevlar 373/epoxy subjected to constant pressure at 90 % stress level until all had failed is fitted to the model and analyzed to illustrate the usefulness of the suggested GASP for the GLD.
