Modeling of Carbon Emission Features of Electric Energy Substitution Users with Demand Response

Abstract
Under the condition of electric energy substitution, the features of carbon emission of users are affected by various factors such as energy consumption characteristics and demand response. This paper proposes a method for analyzing the features of carbon emissions in response to user participation. Firstly, the mathematical model of the adjustable capability of the user key electric energy replacement equipment is constructed. Secondly, sequential energy usage models that cover interruptible and shiftable loads are built. Finally, the modeling method of user carbon emission features considering user energy characteristics and demand response is presented. Through the case study, it can be seen that the carbon emission of electric energy substitution users fluctuates in the time sequence. The reduction periods and potentials of carbon emission among three typical users are different, and the carbon emission reduction can be achieved through complementary utilization.
