Moringa oleifera, commonly known as the drumstick tree or horseradish tree, has long been recognized for its nutritional and therapeutic properties. This article revisits the therapeutic and safety aspects of Moringa while exploring recent trends in its utilization in the formulation of functional foods. A comprehensive analysis of the literature reveals the rich nutritional profile of Moringa, encompassing vitamins, minerals, and bioactive compounds with potential health benefits.
