摘要
The flat-top pulsed magnetic field is an important experimental tool for high-power terahertz sources, high-precision specific heat measurements and high-field nuclear magnetic resonance. In this paper, multiple capacitors are continuously discharged in order to generate the flat-top pulsed magnetic field. Several capacitors are arranged in parallel to constitute an initial discharge bank. In proximity to the magnetic field's peak, the residual capacitors are subsequently activated in sequence to generate a pulsed magnetic field with a flat-top profile. Flat-top pulsed magnets are optimally designed to reduce magnet temperature rise and stress. The experimental results show that a flat-top pulsed magnetic field with a magnetic field of 62.8 T, a duration of 10 ms, and a flatness of 0.3% has been obtained.
