摘要
Here we present the Mössbauer study of the combined magnetic and electrical hyperfine interactions of the probe 57Fe nuclei localized in the hexagonal manganite ScMnO3. The hyperfine interactions were measured in the temperature range where ScMnO3 demonstrates spin ordering: 15K < T < TN (∼ 130K). By analyzing the hyperfine parameters of 57Fe nuclei, we evaluated the oxidation state of the iron ions, their local crystal environment, and the orientation of the magnetic moments μFe in the structure of ScMn0.99657Fe0.004O3 at T << TN. The temperature-dependent evolution of Zeeman structures in Mössbauer spectra was analyzed using the stochastic relaxation model, and indicates the presence of frustration of the superexchange interactions Fe3+−O−Mn3+. The temperature dependence of the hyperfine magnetic field Bhf(T) was described using critical indices, whose values reflect the reduced dimensionality of the magnetic system under study. It was shown that the observed sharp temperature-dependent change of the quadrupole shift of the Zeeman structure components may be attributed to the spin reorientation process, resulting in antiferromagnetism with a weak ferromagnetic component.
