Abstract
The widespread adoption of electric vehicles (EV) has increased the burden on the power grid. Employing V2G technology with unified control over the charging and discharging of electric vehicles presents an effective response strategy. Conventional V2G optimization control schemes often suffer from issues such as insufficient control precision, inadequate consideration of user behaviour flexibility, and frequent battery charge-discharge cycles. This paper proposes a charge and discharge priority index based on which a hierarchical grouping control strategy is designed for peak regulation in distribution networks. It ensures user behaviour flexibility and mitigating the need for frequent battery charge-discharge cycles. In the case study, simulation results demonstrate that the proposed control strategy effectively utilizes the EV cluster as a controllable load, reducing peak-valley differences in the distribution network while ensuring user mobility. The SOC curve of the battery indicates that this approach minimizes the frequency of battery charge-discharge cycles.
