Development of Neural Network based Models for Health Assessment of Human Heart

This research work is focusing on the designing and comparison of classification models to assess the heart health of humans. Two different techniques are explored. The first one is a simple competitive neural network based on unsupervised learning, while the second is a supervised neural network based on SCG (Scaled Conjugate Gradient) algorithm. The primary objective of this research work is to compare the accuracy of these two developed models in assessment of health of human heart. All simulations have been conducted in MATLAB.
