Abstract
Future changes in mobility and service delivery will have an effect on the current transportation system and have an impact on car ownership as well. This research builds a dynamic model of the urban transportation system that takes into account autonomous driving and ride-sharing while methodically examining the development trend and interaction relationships of several essential elements in the transportation system. According to the study's findings, ride-sharing and autonomous driving will initially take market share from public transportation before moving on to market share from private car transportation. This will increase the share of passenger vehicles while simultaneously slightly decreasing the ownership of passenger vehicles. The ownership of passenger vehicles can be decreased by increasing customer acceptance of high-level autonomous driving and lowering the cost of high-level autonomous driving shared automobiles.
