Modelling of Received Power Measurement Based on Reference Signal in 5G-700M Band

The 700MHz band is the golden band among wireless frequencies, and with the 700MHz band being divided under the 5G communication system, it effectively solves the problem of weak 5G signal coverage capability, and at the same time provides new ideas for solving the problems of difficult network coverage in remote mountainous areas and emergency protection. In this paper, the Reference Signal Receiving Power (RSRP) is used as an example, and the 700MHz band parameters are paired and simulated by MATLAB software. Based on the free space loss, a 700MHz band path loss calculation method based on RSRP and path loss is proposed according to the idea of average power method. The correctness of the measurement model is verified by comparing the SS-RSRP values in the real environment and the values simulated by the loss model.
