Navigating Clinical Appropriateness: A Review of Management Strategies for Type B Aortic Dissection

Aortic dissection is a catastrophic, life-threatening event. Its management depends on the anatomical location of the intimal tear (Type A vs. B) and the clinical presentation in type B aortic dissection. In this manuscript, we reviewed the current evidence supporting clinical practice, gaps in knowledge, and the need for more rigorous research and higher quality studies.
