Abstract
The extraction of internal light generated in light-emitting devices in an economical way is always challenging. Modern technology demands more and more stable and enhanced performances of devices fabricated in simple and cost-effective processes with low cost of manufacturing. In this paper, we have demonstrated the synthesis of Zinc Sulfide nanomaterial by a facile and cost-effective solvothermal method, and its performance in light extraction application at light-emitting devices is investigated extensively. The simulation result of light extraction performance of ZnS nanomaterial is correlated with the experimental result, which is satisfactory. Experimental performance carried out in 25 mg ZnS nanomaterial thin film placed over the COB-LED light extracts more intense light than other thin films of ZnS nanomaterial. The simulation result of light extraction also suggests the enhancement of light extraction in 25 mg ZnS nanomaterial. The light extraction performance of ZnS nanomaterial thin film is more questing which can be endorsed for practical and industrial applications.
