摘要
Commercialized bottled mineral water plays a significant role in modern civilization, showing diverse geochemical properties influenced by various geological settings and hydrological processes. This study aim to assess water quality index score (WQIS), determining potential human health risks (HHR), and analyzing other relevant geochemical properties of commercial mineral and spring sources. To achieve this objective, a decision support system software was developed. The software processes geochemical data collected, calculates indices (WQIS, HHR, IEB, SAR, TH, RSC, PI, KR, MH, SSP, and NPI), and enables users to discern the geological structure of each water type based on its geochemical characteristics and ratios (rSO/Cl, rNaCl, and rMgCl). The dataset comprises 33 samples of commercial water. Results indicate that WQIS ranges from 17 to 76, corresponding to water qualities ranging from excellent to good, respectively. HHR values vary between 0.01 and 1.34 it express a significant variability and potential hazards associated with the presence of nitrates in such water types. The developed software serves as a decision support tool for authorities to monitor commercial and other drinking water to save public health.
