Abstract
Understanding the synergistic interplay within tandem reaction systems remains a captivating pursuit in catalysis. In this study, we synthesize a sandwich-like nanostructured catalyst, UiO-66-NH2@(PdAu)@MOF-808, based on metal organic frameworks (MOFs). The PdAu nanoparticles can activate H2, and MOF-808 acts as both the active acidic site and encapsulator, namely “active armor”. Benefiting from the synergy of MOF-808 and PdAu NPs, the developed catalyst shows outstanding performance for reductive amination under mild conditions (30oC, 1atm H2).
