摘要
Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome (OSAS) is a prevalent health issue. Although the traditional polysomnography diagnostic method is comprehensive, it presents several challenges in practical applications, such as the need to wear multiple devices and disturbances to sleep. To address these issues, this paper introduces a non-intrusive method of monitoring sleep apnea based on voice recognition technology, which involves real-time snoring detection. A monitoring and intervention system was developed, primarily composed of a smart pillow and a controller. The system can capture and analyze snoring sounds in real-time. Once an apnea episode is detected, the pillow adjusts its shape to reposition the head, ensuring the airway remains open. Clinical trials have shown that this system can effectively monitor and intervene in sleep apnea episodes. This novel method offers OSAS patients a more comfortable and efficient solution for monitoring and intervening in breathing interruptions.
