A New Multi-Criteria Approach to the Identification of the Best Companies to Work for, using the PSISPOTIS Hybrid Method

This study addresses the pervasive impact of unemployment on society, emphasizing its threat to individual and societal survival. Focusing on aiding workers in choosing companies, we employ a hybrid multicriteria approach utilizing the Preference Selection Index (PSI) for weights and Stable Preference Ordering Towards Ideal Solution (SPOTIS) for ranking. Data from Glassdoor provide anonymous employee evaluations. The PSI method mitigates subjectivity in weight assignment, and SPOTIS ensures stable rankings, even with changing alternatives. The methodology proves efficient and pertinent, offering valuable guidance for workers seeking optimal employment. By combining PSI and SPOTIS, a reliable and objective ranking system is established, empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their professional futures.
