Mobile applications aim to deliver a seamless user experience, but complex tasks often lead to increased processing time, negatively affecting user satisfaction. To address this challenge, offloading techniques offer a promising solution by delegating computationally intensive tasks to devices with greater processing power. However, selecting the most suitable devices for offloading tasks in heterogeneous and dynamic networks requires a robust decision-making method. This paper introduces a multi-criteria context-sensitive decision approach for selecting the device for offloading requests. Additionally, a functional offloading infrastructure is presented, enabling task offloading among devices using the proposed method. Through experiments conducted with real mobile devices, we demonstrate an accuracy rate of over 88% in selecting the most suitable device. Furthermore, we compare the performance of our method against other selection approaches.
