摘要
Janus particles with obvious chemical compartmentalized can perform their functions independently, so they have attracted much attention in biomedical materials. Here, an anisotropic mesoporous silica Janus nanosheet (MSNS) with different functional groups were designed and prepared. In order to endow both sides of MSNS with independent fast hemostasis and effective antibacteria, MSNS was modified with cardanol (CA) and silver nitrate. The addition of CA improved the hemostatic property of MSNS significantly. In SD rat femoral artery injury model, the hemostatic time of CA2-MSNS-Ag was 38% shorter than that of MSNS attributed to the sealing of hydrophobic alkyl and the adhesion of phenolic hydroxyl groups in CA. CA2-MSNS-Ag could form a three-dimensional network with fibrin to further accelerate coagulation process. This Janus material exhibited excellent antibacterial effects (~90%) against Gram-positive bacteria (S.aureus) and Gram-negative bacteria (E.coli) due to the presence of Ag. The cytotoxicity test showed that CA-MSNS-Ag possessed biosafety, which provided safety guarantee for clinical application in the future. This Janus dressing with different functions on two opposite sides provides synergetic multifunctional effects during the healing of wound.
