Dynamics of a Nonlinear System with Multiple Coexisting Attractors

A new nonlinear system is derived in this paper. The nonlinear system has three nonlinearities including a hyperbolic tangent function, a sine function and a quadratic function. The system has infinite equilibria located a hyperbola. Different shaped attractors can be generated from the system under different initial conditions. Moreover, the nonlinear system can also generate multiple coexisting attractors with different sizes.
