Abstract
Based on linear state feedback, a novel approach on how to control complex chaos generated from a class of switched chaotic systems via arbitrary switching is put forward. According to structural characteristics of each subsystem, linear state feedback controllers are designed to guarantee controlled switched chaotic systems degenerate into switched linear systems rapidly. By utilizing common quadratic Lyapunov function technique, the closed-loop systems are globally asymptotically stable at the origin under the condition of arbitrary switching. A numerical example verifies the effectiveness of the presented novel approach in this paper.
