Design of novel selective contacts heterojunction solar cell

Abstract
Novel selective contacts and buffer layers more transparent than amorphous silicon layers are regarded as one of the possible improvements to enhance the efficiency of amorphous/crystalline silicon heterojunction solar cells. To this aim, with the aid of a numerical model, a novel solar cell was designed in which a MoOx layer and a ZnS thin film can act as selective contacts for a new generation of high efficiency solar cells.
