Hygrophorus subroseus sp. nov. (Agaricales, Basidiomycota) from Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, China

On the basis of morphological characteristics and molecular phylogenetic analyses using internal transcribed spacer (ITS) and nuclear ribosomal RNA large subunit (nrLSU) sequences of specimens collected in the Tibetan Plateau, China, Hygrophorus subroseus is described as a new species, supplemented by macroscopic photographs of basidiomata, micrographs of microscopic features, and scanning electron microscopic pictures. The phylogenetic relationship of the new species is analyzed, and phylogram is provided.
