摘要
The effect of different degrees of deformation on the corrosion behavior of the commercial pure titanium produced by uniaxial compression in sodium chloride solution was studied. Compared with the original sample, the thickness of the passivation film of the samples with 10%, 20% and 30% deformation reduction increased by 1.21, 1.42 and 2.15 times, respectively. The high content of TiO2 in the surface layer and Ti(OH)x in the suboxide layer improves the stability of the film. The increase of (0002) texture coefficient and dislocation density are the reason for the improvement of corrosion resistance of pure titanium after deformation.
