Abstract
As one of the commonly used methods for healing bone defects, autologous bone transplantation is limited due to the scarcity of bone sources and the side effects. Therefore, bone tissue engineering scaffolds are widely used as bone repair materials. Research has shown that the addition of trace elements can improve the osteogenic performance of hydroxyapatite, such as magnesium and strontium ions that can promote bone mineralization and osteoblast proliferation, and promote the formation of new bone in vitro and in vivo tests. The main research results of this paper are as follows: (1) The pore size of the scaffold is distributed between 10 and 70 mu m, and it also has a through hole structure of 300-500 mu m; (2) Whisker scaffolders had no obvious cytotoxicity, and the addition of Mg and Sr ions would increase the cell proliferation; (3) The degradation rate of the scaffold is relatively slow; (4) ALP shows that pure hydroxyapatite whisker scaffolds have bone mineralization ability, and magnesium and strontium ions can enhance the bone mineralization ability of hydroxyapatite.
