摘要
The escalating environmental concerns have led to a worldwide focus on developing and implementing sustainable energy sources. However, due to limited space and architectural uniformity in modern buildings, Photovoltaic-thermal (PV/T) systems face challenges. PV/T systems represent a promising solution for generating clean energy. To broaden the potential applications of PV/T systems, a new flexible PV/T system is required. This article presents a novel flexible PV/T system that can be installed on facades with varying angles of bend and tilt. The system is suitable for building facades and enhances both electricity and hot water production. The present study evaluated the impact of various flow rates on the system indoors, and the findings revealed an electrical efficiency of 14.71% and a thermal efficiency of 56.79% at a flow rate of 0.9 l/min. Furthermore, the study compared the flexible PV/T system and the flexible PV system at different tilt angles through outdoor testing. At tilt angles of 30 degrees and 90 degrees, the electrical efficiency increases by 21.35% and 17.33%, respectively, while the averages thermal efficiency 29.29% and 22.79%. The results of indoor and outdoor experiments and thorough analyses demonstrate the system's high reliability and significant application potential.
