A Novel Circular Polarized Corrugated Horn Antenna High Gain and Wide Axial Ratio

摘要
A new type of circular polarimetric corrugated horn antenna with high gain and wide axial ratio is proposed in this paper. The antenna is based on hexagonal waveguide and conical corrugated horn, which greatly improves the gain and axial ratio bandwidth. The simulation results show that the full band $\mathrm{S}_{11}\lt-$ $10 \mathrm{~dB}$ is realized in the range of $120 \sim 165 \mathrm{GHz}$, with a 28.9% axial ratio bandwidth and a gain of $21.9 \sim 25 \mathrm{dBi}$. The antenna has the advantages of low cross polarization level, and can be widely used in radar system, satellite system and other fields.
