Direction Finding by Time Modulation Method With Coprime Antenna Array

This conference paper presents a novel direction-ofarrival (DOA) estimation method based on time modulation and the coprime antenna array, which applies time modulation as a signal processing method to a non-uniform antenna array. This method aims at reducing the system complexity while maintain the accuracy of direction-finding. At the same time, the theoretical derivation and preliminary numerical simulation results of this method are provided. From the simulation results, this method can reduce the complexity of the system while keeps the direction-finding accuracy.
