Large Oblique Angle Measurement in Near-Field Measurement Systems

Abstract
Wide-angle phased array radar is widely used in various applications. In order to test the accuracy of this kind of radar, it is necessary to measure the radar antenna radiation patterns accurately. In this manuscript, a large oblique angle near-field measurement method is proposed. In order to accomplish it, a horn antenna is used instead of phased array radar to verify the testing capability of the robotic near-field measurement system. The experimental results show that the method is feasible and the measurement results are accurate. This method lays a foundation for the optimization and testing of phased array antenna.
